Previously a reporter and writer for several major international news outlets in the East and Horn of Africa, Middle East and Central/South Asia, Les Neuhaus is now a freelance photojournalist.

He has spent the last four years covering Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, among others.
