Giulietta studied English Literature at Newcastle Universtiy in England obtaining a BA degree in 2004. She then moved to NYC to study at the International Center of Photography, where she graduated from their one year program in General Studies in Photography in Sept 2005. She worked at the Village Voice, a Weekly Newspaper in NYC, as a photographer and assistant to the Photo Editor for a year. During this time she also worked on the post production of images she took on the documentary series set of the History Channels The American Revolution.
She has also completeted a six month internship as an Assistant Black and White Fine Art Printer to Master Printer Teresa Engle Moreno. This included working with negatives by Photographers such as Ted Croner, Bruce Davidson, Andreas Feininger and Robert and Cornell Capa. She has worked at ICP as a Technical Assistant in the Black and White dark rooms for a Fine Art Print Photo Journalism class and a Mural Print Class. She was Exhibition Assistant at Mirriam Jennings Gallery in NYC for Eli Reed and Toni Parks Joint Photography Exhibition, while she was also photographing on a Feature Film for LLI Pictures for their Film Crystal Vision.
Giulietta also has experience as a part-time teacher in Ceramics, Painting and Cookery, through vounteering at Kids Cabin a Center for afterschool creative activities for underprivileged children in Newcastle Upon Tyne. In 2004 she had a solo photographic portrait exhibition at Newcastle University and has since been part of group exhibitions at ICP (2005), Newcastle College (2004) and The Slade School of Fine Art (UCL, 2002).
Giulietta is working on her own projects as a free-lance photographer and is presently in the Philippines teaching photography to both children and adults at Foto Baryo while she works on her own documentary project.
