Photographer Chris Etchells was born in Derbyshire in the UK in 1979. He has always had a passion for photography and took this a step further in 1997 when he qualified as a press photographer from Sheffield College.

He is passionate about travelling and loves being able to combine this with his photography.

His describes his photography style as contemporary, adding that he likes to keep things simple. Indeed many of his images have a graphic quality. He likes to capture shapes and texture as well as bright vivid colours.

He also looks at architecture in abstract form and often uses black and white to give depth to the figures and images.
