For A New Horizon

Khalek Hashim, 33 years old Bangladeshi, is one of the thousands of migrant workers who have sought for job opportunities in Malaysia. Khalek is currently working 8 hours/day in Teng Piling Construction based in Johor Bahru for 40 Ringgit Malaysia a day. As a carpenter in Bangladesh he had previously earned Taka Bangladesh 100/day which is equivalent to 4 Malaysian Ringgit only. Now every month, Khalek can allocate 500 Ringgit for his beloved family. He is quite satisfied with his job in Malaysia and hopes to slowly improve his family's future. Khalek had managed to get this job through a Malaysian agent. He was given a 3 years contract. When Khalek first came to Malaysia he could hardly speak in Bahasa Malaysia let alone write or read it. It was a tough time but still Khalek strove and worked hard to overcome the challenges all for the sake of a better future.

About

Aizuddin Saad has been involved in photography since early 2007 and became serious in early April 2007. He resigned from his career as a graphic designer to become full time photographer. However, there are too many challenges that he must face! He has to keep on learning and learning! He doesn’t care what people say because finally he has found what passion means in his artistic work. Before this he was a graphic designer, web designer, animator & fine art artist. He never had any commitment or passion in each of what he has done.

He feels satisfied when he starts to release the shutter. He captures every moment with his camera. With one photo, many words can be described. He has found a beautiful life for him. He wishes photography will never be forgotten from his heart and continue throughout his whole life.
