India's Mall Generation

With the new economy and the influence of globalization, a new generation is emerging in India. People who are more fashion conscious and are more aware of materialistic indulgence.[short/long] They wear branded cloths, have mobile phones, go to clubs and have a completely new attitude that comes across in the way they walk, talk and behave. it is India's Mall generation.

Sephi Bergerson is an independent photographer based in New Delhi since February 2002.

Previously a commercial photographer and president of the professional photographers association in Israel (2000-2002) his work now focuses on documentary and commercial/documentary projects for various publications and organizations in India.

Sephi’s book ‘Street food of India’ is scheduled for publication by Roli Books in January 2009.
His second book,‘Shaadi Galore – Traditional Weddings in Modern India’ is scheduled to come out in early 2009 with Roli books
