About

I was born in France in 1976 and after a BA in Graphic Design in France I moved to London (UK) where I
graduated in Photojournalism at the London College of Printing (LCP). I decided to go back to Paris where
I work now as a freelance photojournalist for national, international magazines and NGO’s.

When I found out that three generations on my mother’s side of the family were born in Algeria, during the
colonial time, I became immediately interested in that country. More specifically, its citizens and how they
cope with all the conflicting realities that characterise modern Algeria.

Apart from that, women, children and old people have always been my main interest. I try to understand and
to analyse how they live in different societies. In particular, how much environmental disasters, terrorism or the
lack of respect to human rights affect their lives.
