Born in 1975 in St.Petersburg, Russia.
University degree in linguistics from the Kemerovo State University, Russia. Worked as translator since 1996. Interested in photography since 2000. Started a new career path as photojournalist in 2006. Represented by Anzenbeger Agency in Vienna since 2007. Nominated to KLM Paul Huf Award in 2008. Occasionally writes articles on local history, linguistics and travel.
