The Last CabaretTHE LAST CABARET El Bagdad. Barcelona A mythical pub of spectacles, full of feathers and sequins, where revue shows are played. It was founded a year after Franco's regime fall and placed in Paralelo avenue, in the City of Barcelona, next to other cabarets. The report shows the daily life of the artists and how they arrange their stripteases and porno spectacles. Images by Laia Abril

About
I am young woman discovering the wonderful world of the photojournalism. I graduated in Journalism by the University Ramon Llull in Barcelona (Spain). I started doing my first photos in the local magazine of the Faculty since 2006. Then I have done practice of journalism in the international section of the Avui newspaper, as well as two special correspondent collaborations in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Also I have done photographer’s practices in El Periódico de Catalunya. I was finalist in the Albarracín Photo and Journalism Seminar (2007) and exposed a prizewinner photo in the International Festival Sonimagfoto (2007).
