Brett Flashnick is a freelance photojournalist, based in Columbia, S.C., and is represented by World Picture Network. Some of Brett’s other clients include, USA Today, Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Golf Digest, Army Times Publishing Company, and The Washington Post. Brett is a 2005 graduate of Photojournalism and Political Science programs at Western Kentucky University. Brett received many national and regional awards for his photography, including the 2002 College Photographer of the Year award for his sports photography portfolio, and the 2003 William Randolph Hearst Award for News and Sports photography, as well as numerous regional awards from the Kentucky News Photographers Association, Kentucky Press Association, Columbia Scholastic Press Association, and the South Carolina News Photographers Association.
