The book dealer - Recife, Brasil

Fear of Recife, the city with the highest homicide rate of all Brazil. In the favela da Pina, as the flower of culture growing in the middle of a crap of drug dealers, violence and homicides, stands the library Os Guardioes (the guardians). Ricardo "Kcal" Gomez built it to give the opportunity to the children of the favela to read and study on the second-hand books he has been recollecting during 15 years.

I am a 26 years-old Italian photojournalist. I live en Seville with Maria and the little Leonardo.
