Kostas ARGYRIS (born 1961 in Chalkis, Greece) studied Humanities at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is based in Thessaloniki and works as a professional freelance photojournalist for newspapers and magazines.

Kostas Argyris is specializing also in Documentary-style Wedding Photography.

He has served as an accredited photographer on Mount Athos and as curator of the Mount Athos Photographic Archive.

His Mount Athos work has been exhibited at the Museum of Byzantine Culture (Thessaloniki, 1997), the Gallerie Renoir (Nice, France, Month of Photography/Biennale 2000), the Photographic Center of Skopelos (Skopelos, Greece, Biennale, 2001), the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum (Thessaloniki, 2001), the Quo Vadis gallery (Bratislava, Slovakia, Month of Photography, 2002), the Horos Technon gallery (Veroia, Greece, 2002), the Esztergom Christian Museum (Esztergom, Hungary, 2004), Helsinki City Art Museum (Helsinki, Finland, 2006).
