About

A photographer who loves food ,freelancer Raymond Bogsi Panaligan shoots for international wire agencies and local publications and works closely with Non Government Organizations .He has participated in numerous exhibits about indigenous people’s, the environment as swell as experiences of his stay in New York City as a grantee of the Asian Cultural Council in 1999.He has also contributed photographs to several books such as EDSA2: A nation in Revolt, the 2000 Philippines Year Book and Kasaysayan: Philippine Encyclopedia. Mr. Panaligan was also among the 1st recipient of the Ateneo Center for Journalism/World Press Photo Foundation Photojournalism scholarship grant in 2006.He was also a staff photographer of Rice Today magazine, the official publication of the International Rice Research institute from 2005 to 2008. Since 1992 he has been documenting the Mangyan tribes in the island of Mindoro.
Raymond is currently teaching basic photography at the De La Salle University in Manila.When not shooting ,he loves to cook and eat.
