Clarkson is a corporate reorganization lawyer and owner of Cheshire Publishing Company. He has traveled extensively, creating photography exhibits and portfolios about the people, cultures and governments of Pakistan, India (Kashmir), Vietnam, Peru and the Amazon, Prague and Vienna, Venice, Milan and Rome, England and Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, Aruba and Thailand.

His recent book, coauthored with Veita Jo Hampton, Windows to Vietnam – A Journey in Pictures & Verse, was published in July, 2007. www.windowstovietnam.com.

Scott spent 45 days in Pakistan and Kashmir in 2008, preparing the next two books - about the people and cultures of Pakistan and Kashmir.

His primary camera is a Leica M8, with a Nikon D90 backup and Nikon F100 for film.
