About

Alessandro Penso was born in a small town near Rome thirty years ago.
During the university years he began to study as a photographer in one of the most presigious schools of phography in Rome,
“Scuola Romana di Fotografia” where thanks to the award “San Lorenzo fotofestival” he obtains his first prize and win a scholarship.
He travels and works in Tibet to the work “New Tibet”.After his travel in Ethiopia he publishes “ethiopian tribal enviroments” on pdn magazine winning the first prize in “Pdn Photo Student”,this pictures was pubblicate in PDNnedu and distribuited in a school with photografy progammas in the united states,and the immage were also on display at the conference of teh society for photografer education,in Dallas tx.
In 2008 he attends a workshop with Francesco Zizola and Tiziana Faraoni.
He obtains too a mantion honour by i.p.a.
In the same year he is marked by tau “associazione nazionale fotografi italiani”
and win a medal of bronz a “fotoleggendo 2008”
Ever in 2008 the work About Drag Kings was project in the Lucca digital photo in the gala night

Now he is working to differents projects about the gender identity and the rule of the body in differents forme d’arte.
