Alisa Booze Troetschel is a photojournalist with a gift for capturing interactions and emotion, and enjoys writing, too. She has photographed, edited and written for several newspapers and magazines. With a passion for travel, she has completed reporting projects on three continents.

Her business, Alisa Booze Troetschel Photography, focuses on helping humanitarian nonprofits raise awareness of the issues they address, and tell the public about their efforts to address them. While she’s curious about most everything, the well-being and challenges of families, women and children are especially important to her, as well as projects about intercultural understanding and relations. The environment and access to healthcare are also strong interests.
