Makati Senakulo

For the past 80 years, the Senakulo (lenten play) has been held every Holy Week in the sidestreets of Brgy. Pio del Pilar, Makati City. It is about the life and passion of Christ played out in 8 nights by volunteers coming from the same community who, by the way, are not professional actors, but ordinary people who see it as a way of giving back to the community or as an act of penance.
