Janos Kis photographer has been living for many years across different countries like Hungary, France, USA, Japan, Israel and Cambodia. He learned his craft through years of practice and experimentation. Has studied Sociology at Janus Pannonius University of Pecs & Assistant camera & Camera operator craft at School of Hungarian Society of Cinematographers “HSC Film Crew School”. Janos’s main interest is in Social documentary, Photojournalism, Humanitarian and Street photography. He’s documenting the life of migrant workers, asylum-seekers, child labor, landmine victims and children with congenital disorders.
Regardless of the subject matter, Janos is interested in depicting obvious and essential details of life that are often overshadowed by larger, more newsworthy circumstances. He works primarily as freelance documentary photographer / photojournalist and available for Non Profit/NGO’s clients as well.
Janos is available to photograph on assignment to help you meet your corporate, advertising, and/or editorial image needs and video “documentary” reportage in Europe, Asia, Middle East & Worldwide. He provides pre-production and fixer services for foreign film crews and journalists.
Janos is member of the Overseas Press Club of Cambodia, SEA/Collectiv & contributing photographer for South Korean Penta Press news agency.

Janos latest exhibition a charity fundraising held in Wat Ketseraram for a “Little Nun” who suffers from Down syndrome. The goal was to bring the project to a unique venue and make it a humanitarian effort to benefit the pagoda and help its disabled resident.
