War

We all have our understandings of war. I see it as the sum of human activities in a time of chaos and reversal. The normal is abnormal, and people struggle to maintain and redefine their humanity against pressures which serve to make of man nothing but an object.

I began my photojournalism career covering NATO’s entry into Kosovo in 1999 while finishing my master’s degree in journalism at U.C. Berkeley. I’m working as a photographer, while developing new Internet-based tools for journalists and photographers.
This year I’m based in northern California. I’m working on the ultimate online gallery/print-sales website for working photojournalists.
