Insiya Syed is a restless young soul who started off as a freelance writer. Based in Karachi, she took to photojournalism in 2009.

Participated twice in The Foundry Photojournalism Workshop [Istanbul, Turkey – 2010 & Chiang Mai, Thailand – 2012] and the "Angkor Photography Workshop [Siem Reap, Cambodia – 2010].

Syed’s photos have published in publications such as The Express Tribune, The Friday Times [Pakistan], The Washington Post, Condé Nast [USA], The Sunday Times Magazine [London], Communication Arts [Advertising Annual 2012], and TIME Lightbox to name a few.
