Helmville, Montana

Helmville is a small town located in the Blackfoot Valley in Powell County, Montana. Settled by Irish pioneers in the 1870s, it retains its Irish roots and has thus far escaped the disintegration of traditional rural life occurring in other Montana counties. Ranching continues to be the predominant agricultural activity.
