About

Johannes P. Christo born in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 17th 1987. Christo is a self-taught photographer who develop his own vision both in color and monochrome as his photography character.

Christo now based in Bali where he works as a freelance photojournalist covering news editorial and in-depth reportage, while having some on going documentary personal projects Bali about the rabies virus outbreak.

Award, Workshop and Recognition:

-2nd Place of National Geographic Indonesia, International Photography Contest 2008 in Human Category.

-Selected as young Asian photographer participant for Angkor Photo Workshop 2009 in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

-Received partial scholarship from Foundry Photojournalism Workshop 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.
