Margaret Fenton is currently freelancing and acting as a mountaineering guide from Hong Kong into China and Malaysia following a five-month stint in the Himalayas.
Ms. Fenton was most recently a freelance photographer for the Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and French from Centre College and a Bachelor of Arts in photojournalism at Western Kentucky University. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Tau Alpha fraternities. Ms. Fenton was the Director of Photography for Vanderbilt Student Communications. She has interned at The Advocate-Messenger in Danville, Ky., The-Post Standard in Syracuse, N.Y., and the Chattanooga Times Free Press in Tennessee. She was photo editor of Western Kentucky University’s 2008 Talisman yearbook, which was awarded a Silver Crown, 31 Gold Circle Awards and a Pacemaker.
