Born and raised in New York, Michael lives with his family in Santa Cruz, California. Michael has been taking pictures since 1979 and has focused on street photography since the early 1980’s. He continues to work in this area today, where his goal is to make interesting observations of life’s everyday events, which most people pass by without noticing.
