Janos Kis Hungarian photographer has been living in Cambodia since 2004. He traveled extensively South East Asia. Lived in France, Japan, USA, Israel. He’s main interest is in Social documentary,Photojournalism, Humanitarian and Street photography. He is working on several long term project and documenting the life of migrant workers, asylum-seekers, child labor, landmine victims and children with congenital disorders.

He is available to photograph on assignment to help you meet your corporate, advertising, and/or editorial image needs in South East Asia, Israel, EU or Worldwide.

He works primarily as freelance documentary photographer and available for Non Profit/NGO’s clients as well.

Janos providing pre-production, fixer services, location scout, creative shooting ideas,data collections and researches, arranges logistic, lodging, bodyguard, translation, casting assistance and all the necessary permissions for film crews in Cambodia.

The Another Planet creative documentary won several international awards. 2008 Maysles Brothers Award, Best Documentary Award of the 8th Rome Independent Film Festival, etc…

Janos’s one of the latest work as a fixer, line producer, a travel documentary for Singapore based Channel News Asia via Vertigo Pictures.

Nikon Pro Magazine summer edition in 2012, published an interview with Janos and call him and other two…

Fixer services for photographers and journalists are also available. Journalists, foreign production companies, TV crews, Independent filmmakers must apply for General Shooting Permission in Cambodia 1-2 weeks advance for(feature, travel, documentary, music videos).

The well maintained long term relationships, experience of negotiations in the Cambodian bureaucratic labyrinth make smoother the permission procedures for our satisfied clients.

Note: All feature films require script approval from the appropriate ministry. Special permits are required to shoot at Angkor Archeological Park.

Our production partners neither in Cambodia nor in Thailand supply items if any certain equipment is required.

A story-board, script or detailed description of treatment, included the desired locations is required in order to perform a database search.

Janos is member of the Cambodia based SEA/Collectiv and contributing photographer for the South Korean Penta Press news agency.

He’s works were exhibited in Hungary and Cambodia. The latest was a charity fundraising for a nun who suffers from Down syndrome.
