Antonio Faccilongo was born in Rome in 1979, after he graduated in communication science, he explored his passion for photography at “Istituto superiore di fotografia” and at “Officine fotografiche” in Rome. Then followed a course of journalism and then obtained his MA in photojournalism under the direction of Rolando Fava, a former director and photographer for the Ansa Agency.
Since 2007 he began to work in photojournalism and has chosen to work in the area of reports of international interest. He has mostly focused his work in Middle east and South-East Asia, covering cultural, social and political aspects.
His works were published in all major Italian newspapers and magazines.
