About

I got interested in photography at the age of 14 when I travelled to Sarajevo in a school exchange.

At the age of 16 I started to work as a freelance photographer for different newspapers in Barcelona.

The next year I went to the antiglobalitation mobilisations against the G8 summit in Genoa in witch would be my first international story.

In 2001 I started to study Photography in the Photographic Studies Institute of Barcelona until 2004.

In 2002 I travelled for first time to Palestine to cover the Palestinian Intifada and I came back in 2003.

In the same year I started to work for El Pais (one of the most important newspaper in Spain) as a non-staff photographer until now.

During those years I have covered different socials issues in Barcelona, developing a documentary work about the immigrants struggle for their rights or the social movements with Barcelona as the main scene.

In 2006 I went to Lebanon to cover the war between Israel and Shiite militia, Hezbollah.

And one year later I came back to check which was the situation and also to cover the war between Fatah Al-Islam and the Lebanese army in northern Lebanon.
