About

Javed Sultan is a visual artist and an avid photographer graduated from University of Delhi currently working in AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia University. He is a published photographer mainly working on social issues. He also had the opportunity to construct designs for United Nations. His design was selected for the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”exhibition in New York, Geneva & Bangkok organized by United Nations.

He is also a photo essay contributor for Sunday Guardian and the Invisible Photographer Asia. His work was part of various photography exhibitions in India and abroad.

His work on Tibetan refugee in India had solo exhibited in Italy as the part of photo journalistic exhibition held in Canosa di Pulia, August 4, 2012 in Vittoria Veneto Plaza as social inclusion project, organized by the Foundation of the The South and Pro Loco UNPLI of Puglia.

He has rendered his creative services to documentary films which were shown widely in International film festivals.
