About Seonggwang Kim is an award winning photographer from S.Korea who is gaining international recognition for his photographic documentation in Indochina area and Far East Asia. He is a Grand Prix winner of prestigious Joong-ang daily newspaper College Press Photo Competition(The first biggest news media in S.Korea) in 2011; International Picture Story bronze prize winner of CPOY in Missouri, U.S. in 2012. Most notably, his work on Tuberculosis in Siem-Reap, Cambodia has gained international recognitions. He is one of Asian Young 30 photojournalists nominated by 2010’ Angkor Photo Festival French government supports in Cambodia and 63rd Missouri photo workshop 2011 participator in U.S.. Since starting as a freelance photojournalist in 2010, he has been covering an array of news from general news to feature stories that deal with social issue and human conditions in various parts of the world. He has worked for Associated Press, XL Semanal, Korean National Tuberculosis Association, Hyundai Motors Group, and many clients around the world.
