Alex Potter is an emerging photographer with a particular interest in people and nations in transition. She has recently spent time in Yemen during the months surrounding the presidential election, and just completed a long term project on the new generation of Somali youth in Minneapolis. Alex has been commended by the Sony World Photo Awards, shortlisted by the Lucie Emerging Photographer Foundation,chosen for the Eddie Adams Workshop 2013 and appointed as Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar for 2013.
Alex is presently in Yemen and will move to Beirut in September.
