About

I am an Abu Dhabi, UAE based photographer, focusing on editorial and documentary projects, interested in further exploring the concepts behind stories and portraits. Currently, I am a staff photographer at The National newspaper, which covers the UAE and the region.

Born in northern Slovakia in 1976, I studied fine arts and philosophy and continued my education in the United States where I received my MA in print journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Editorial clients include: the Rocky Mountain News, The National Magazine, Budget Travel, Sunday Times Mail and Antenna Mag.
Corporate clients include: Imagination Publishing, Executive Affairs Authority – Abu Dhabi and Chronicles of Higher Education.
