About

Nic served four years in the german military. While doing his duty, he began to start taking photos. He is specially interested in photographies from crisis or combat areas with a humanitarian background.

It think that these pictures can be more than just being a picture. And when i´m looking at photographies from crisis areas i always think to myself: These pictures don´t get enough attention.

,, … i don´t know how to say. It feels like if there´s somethin´
inside me that wants me to do this. And it´s exactly these
kind of things that i really want to do. I mean , … one day
in my life i wanna look back at what i did with my lifetime…
and i wanna be proud of it … i want to have changed something … "

Nic is currently working as a press-photographer for the dpa (Deutsche Presse Agentur) in Frankfurt am Main.
