Joseph Brunette is a multiple award-winning Director of Photography for major US broadcasters and independent documentary films. In 2009, the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival awarded him, Best Cinematography for his work on the feature length documentary, “The Rivals.” Brunette has shot extensively for both cable and network television. His work can be seen on the Discovery Channel reality series, American Loggers,numerous marquee specials for History, and the PBS series NOVA.
Brunette finds learning how all kinds of different people experience life in this world is essential and rewarding. He lived in Asia for three years, has traveled in 26 different countries, and has shot in many diverse parts of the world ranging from the barren Antarctic plains of snow and ice, to Mayan caves in the jungles of Guatemala, to the bustling markets of Jerusalem and India, and most recently, a devastated Haiti.
