Schick covers the revolutions and civil wars in Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador and realizes reportages on the genocide of indigenous populations of South and Central America. After moving to Milan he starts collaboration with the magazines King and Moda.
As foreign correspondant for the weekly Europeo he covers the changes in the former USSR. His photographs of the wars in former Jugoslavia are distributed by the agencies Contrasto and Katz and pubblished worldwide. From 1999 to 2004 he travels the world realizing photo-essays on social and environmental issues for Rizzoli and Mondadori editors. From 2005 to 2007 he is editor-in-chief and photo-editor of the magazine Arte Navale, producing photo-essays about marine and nautical live.
Eventhough reportage remains his primary interest, collaboration with lifestyle magazines and advertising agencies continues throughout the years.
