Akos Stiller (30) was born in Hungary, and holds a degree in international communication from the Budapest School of Communication. In 2007 he started to work as a professional photographer for hvg, the Hungarian business weekly and currently takes assignments for the New York Times and for Bloomberg as well. Stiller has won several awards over the years in the Hungarian Pictures of the Year, and has been awarded as the best young photojournalist in Hungary in 2011. He is currently focusing on documenting the rising social tensions within the roma community in Eastern-Hungary.
