Rakib Ahmed is a documentary photographer based in Dhaka. He started photography in 2006 and graduated in photojournalism from Pathshala (South Asian media academy), the country’s premier institute for photography, in 2010.

He attended workshops with Philip Blenkinsop (Noor images),Morten Krogvold (Norwegian portraitist and lecturer),Sohorab Hura, Munem Wasif (Agence Vu in Paris), Andrew Biraj (Reuters).

His work was featured in Nordic Light 2009, an International Festival of Photography in Norway.

He has been working as a photojournalist with leading local newspapers and magazine since 2008.
