For The GodsA festival that takes place in Huizhou, China once every fifteen years. Local villagers and farmers take part to give thanks to the gods who have provided them with successful harvests over the years. They first go to a nearby lake where they prepare food offerings to the water gods. This is followed by a gathering in the village square where more food is prepared. Firecrackers ward away any evil spirits lurking around.
