International award-winning photographer-cum-architect Bazuki Muhammad is based in Kuala Lumpur covering for Reutes since 1998. He spent nearly 10 years in the New Orleans areas and in Tennessee in the United States, experimenting with the what he calls the “Art of Seeing”, while he earned his degree in architecture and learning “seeing creatively” at Louisiana State University. His works have been featured in variety of publications, news-wire agencies, including Newsweek, Life, Asiaweek and Time. Bazuki won Publish Asia’s Best in Sports Photography for two consecutive years in 2002 and 2003. Bazuki covered the London Olympics 2012, cyclone Nargis in Myanmar, the war in Afghanistan, tsunami in Thailand, Hajj sacred journey in Mecca, the life of sea gypsies in the Sulawesi Sea, troubles in southern Thailand and flood in Bangkok to name a few.
