Covered the coup in Fiji and the World Economic Forum riots in Melbourne in 2000, the evacuation of refugees from East Timor 1999, the victims of the Bali bomb blasts 2002, the tsunamis in northern Papua New Guinea 1998 and in Asia 2004 (Banda Aceh, Indonesia – Phuket, Khoa Lak etc Thailand – and Myanmar) and the destruction wrought by category 5 Cyclone Larry (hurricane, typhoon) on northern Australia 2006.
