Yangon Before Chaos, waiting for the Saffron Revolution.

Yangon, formerly Rangoon, May 2005. People hiding, walking and walking all day. Lack of transportation at that time, under military rules of the savage Myanmar's junta. Now, people walk again. Thousands, including nuns, monks and ordinary Burmese, marched through the streets of Rangoon these last days and demanding freedom for Aung San Suu Kyi, the Nobel laureate, in a dramatic escalation of the country’s Buddhist-led “Saffron Revolution”. In the red, they are all threatened by soldiers, ready to obey.
