Véronique de Viguerie, 29-year-old, free-lance photographer represented by WPN agency, worked and lived in Afghanistan and Pakistan for a long time. Since 2006, she is covering different places such as Lebanon, Somalia, India, Bangladesh, Israel, Kashmir, Cameroon and Iran. Her work is regularly published in Newsweek, New York Times magazine, Stern, Paris-Match, Géo, Figaro magazine, Marie-Claire, The Guardian, La Republicca etc.
In 2006, she published her first book on Afghanistan: ‘Regards Croisés’.
In 2006, she won the Canon prize for the Female Photojournalist of the Year and the Lagardère grant for Young Talent. This year, she is selected for the Best War Photo Reportage at Bayeux.
