Andrew Caballero-Reynolds is a photojournalist, recording societies in conflict and transition. Since 2005 Andrew has covered insurgencies in Northern Uganda, the Philippines, and Eastern Kenya; and humanitarian efforts in India, Uganda, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, and the transition from war in Sri Lanka. As well he has covered major international sporting events and specialized in cricket. his work has appeared in TIME, the Christian Science Monitor, Sports Illustrated, and on the page of most major International and American newspapers, including The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Guardian.
From the United States he spent his childhood moving around Asia and the Middle East. After studying at Lewis and Clark College in Oregon and taking a Masters in Media at the University of Sydney in Australia, Andrew returned to East Africa to concentrate on international reporting.
Andrew has worked as the chief Photographer with Reuters in Sri Lanka, AFP in India, and Gulf News in Dubai. He has contributed to the Associated Press, Getty Image, Bloomberg, the Australian Associated Press, and ZUMA. In addition to his photography Andrew worked as an emergency logistics coordinator for Doctors Without Boarders and a fire-fighter in Oregon.
