Adam Dean is a freelance photographer based in China and represented by Panos Pictures in London.

Clients include The New Yorker, Newsweek, TIME Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Telegraph Magazine, The New York Times, Newsweek etc.

He has experience working in Afghanistan, North Korea, China, Burma, Pakistan, Iran, Mongolia and Europe.

NGO clients include UNICEF and Save The Children and commercial clients include Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Honda.

In 2011 he was selected as one of PDN’s 30 Emerging Photographers and has been honoured with multiple awards from bodies including POYi (1st place), PDN Annual, Sony World Photography Awards, PX3, CHIPP, The Press Photographer’s Year, Ian Parry Scholarship. His work has been shown at Visa Pour L’Image festival in Perpignan (’07, ’08 & ’09), was exhibited at The Ian Parry Scholarship print exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery in London and at the Luis Valtueña International Humanitarian Photography Award Exhibition across Europe.
