Monferrato's Treasures

I heard about these men who would go into the woods and valleys in search of truffles led by their most trusted companions, the truffle hunting dogs. The special relationship between the Trifulau and his dog is beautiful to see unfold before your eyes. This is a world full of mysticism: these truffle hunters are eclectic and meet in secret places. The truffle hunters I met were very kind and open. I thank them for letting me in their lives and tell their stories.

Liz Borda was born and raised in New York. She was born in Inwood, Manhattan and later moved to Flushing, Queens.
