Youngstown: Descent into DarknessYoungstown, Ohio was once one of the major steel centers of the world. In 1977, on a day that would become known as "Black Monday", the first of the mills began to close, and by 1984 all the major still mills had ceased to exist. Thirty years later, Youngstown still struggles to survive the economic fallout from the collapse of the steel industry in America.
