After graduating from the University of Wales College Newport Documentary Photography course in 2002, Richard has been working on news and humanitarian issues.
Since 2003, he has been a contributing photographer with Corbis and also works closely with many aid agencies including CAFOD on projects in Congo, Aceh and Liberia. His work has been widely published including Newsweek Week in Pictures from Afghanistan. Exhibitions include Sunday Times Ian Parry Awards in London in 2001/2002, Association of Photographers Document Awards London 2005 and Amnesty International (Jersey) Human Rights Week 2005/2006.
