René Edde is currently a staff photographer for a suburban Chicago weekly affiliate of the Sun-Times News Group.

Initially drawn to photography as a potential to explore societies and promote social change, René seeks to use the power of visual journalism to create awareness within communities.

Currently René works for a small community news group as well as working on variolus long term personal projects and stories.
