i spent the summer in the Democratic Republic of Congo working on a photostory on the rape victims there. War started in 1998 and although there is a peace accord and the war is officially over, foreign militia and factions that oppose the current government are still reaking havock on the village populations in the mineral rich eastern regions of the country.

i just moved back to the US from London.
