Ricardo Maldonado is an journalist and photojournalist based in Cartagena, Colombia, where he has covered the civil conflict, drug war and the different aspects from the daily life of the country for the past fourteen years, first like writer and now like photographer. His photography has appeared in the Associated Press and from there in numerous publications of the world. Ricardo covers is all the north coast of Colombia, but it can travel to where it is required. Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Rioacha, Montería, Valledupar y Sincelejo are other cities where frequently it covers the news.
