Welcome to my profile. No animals were harmed during its production. Although I believe I was eating a cheeseburger while writing it. I in no way harmed that animal either as it was already dead way before we met. I’ve been shooting since 1982 when I stumbled into a photography class in High School. Although I was kicked out of Mr. Palachecks class for smoking in the dark room, I continued on in private. Books from the library and manuals from various cameras were my teacher, mentor and instructor. I managed to catch on fairly quick and bought my first “Significant” camera while stationed at Ft. Knox Kentucky in 1985. I shot on and off for years not taking it too seriously until around 1991. I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography and later I applied for a stringer position at a local paper (North County Times) in 2002 and was given a chance to go “Pro”. Since then I’ve managed to hold my own and have done quite well. I now run a company called The Image Group Photography and it seems to be taking off. I still have a long way to go and quite a bit of room for improvement. I’m always open for suggestions tips and of course WORK so if you have any… please feel free to contact me.
