Kosovo, Vidovdan 28 June 2007

Vidovdan is a religious holiday for the Serbs (St. Vitus' Day). It also has a historical importance as in 1389 Serbs against the Ottoman Empire in the Battle of Kosovo.Even though the Serbian army had lost it decisively, The Battle of Kosovo is seen by many Serbs as the first defining moment of the rise of their nation. They still have celebration in Kosovo and last summer Aleksandar Karađorđević, the Serbian Crown Prince attended the celebrations.
